A vision for the future

When I think in my future like a social worker, I immediately see me in the academic world of my profession, because this is most exciting for me. I really believe that in this position of my career, I will contribute abundantly interesting things and I can learn to work whit people to different countries and cultures around the world, because when you are an academic in social work, you can travel a lot to conferences and conversations.
Even I think that in the future, I can really love study something relation with international studies or something that let me to travel around the world know new places and new things that I would using in my country to social work.
One thing that perhaps doesn´t have to do with my future in my career is the place that where I really like live in the future after to finish my education in Chile. This is very important for me, because a few years ago I believe that I found my dream´s place to live. I mean to New York City, in United States. }
Many of you might think “Why a Chilean social worker dream with this?” And the answer to this question is many easy. Because when I saw this city for first time, I could recognize that this is the most cosmopolitan place in the world, and this is my dream, make my work where all the people is different for understand and learn from each of them, and with this create new forms in social work with an open mind.
