Postgraduate Studies

The post of today is very important for me, because justly today we talked about what is the road to become in a doctor in social work. My teacher of “Epistemology of social sciences” said to the class that in our discipline, you can make a doctorate only before you are thirty two years, if you want to be granted a scholarship.

For this I think that maybe could be interesting make a doctorate related with psychology, because I really believe that to make changes and transformation trough social work, first is necessary to study the people with the elements of psychology. In definitely I think that mix these two disciplines is relevant to make a good work in society.

Really I would love study outside of Chile, because exist other countries that have more opportunities to the young people to study doctorate. For example in others countries the education is free or you have many options to organize their time when they study and work, etc. About this in my case, I could to say that I will like it make my doctorate in part-time.

Also a more important thing for me in this election to study a doctorate outside of Chile is the possibility to learn other language, like English is United Stated or England. This in the contemporaneous world is very relevant; because the most important texts about social work are write in English.
