Carrer-related Website


In the career of Social Work in the University of Chile, there is a subject called “Critical approaches in social work” where the teacher shows us different web pages where there are journals with academic content  about the career. This website talks about one of the critical approaches where we can find sections with different articles that tell us about this. Some features of this website is that it is in Portuguese, people can become users of the page and on the left you can search for articles by edition, author, title or others.  In the last time I have had to visit the website many times, because I am doing a work with respect to this critical approached. I like this webpage because I think it is very necessary that important academic content such as this one be available to all the people who want to see it. I also like this page because the critical approach that the magazine seems is with which I feel most represented for my future profession of social work. The post of today is very important for me, because justly today we talked about what is the road to become in a doctor in social work. My teacher of “Epistemology of social sciences” said to the class that in our discipline, you can make a doctorate only before you are thirty two years, if you want to be granted a scholarship. For this I think that maybe could be interesting make a doctorate related with psychology, because I really believe that to make changes and transformation trough social work, first is necessary to study the people with the elements of psychology. In definitely I think that mix these two disciplines is relevant to make a good work in society. Really I would love study outside of Chile, because exist other countries that have more opportunities to the young people to study doctorate. My favorite TV series

Today, I am going to talk about a very different topic (considering all the previous topics).   I mean to the TV series that I have watched for two months ago, the name of this TV series is “Gossip girl”. I began to watched this TV series because my little sister (Martina) said me “Javi, this is the best TV series of the world, you should watch it”. And when I was start the first chapter, I felt that my sister had the whole reason, because is my favorite TV series to this day. Gossip girl show the life of different teenagers in New York City, United Stated.
