Why did you choose this career/study programme?

When I was a little girl, my dream was to study Veterinary, because I love all animals, but above all I like cats. Nevertheless at the moment of applying to university all my options were humanist careers, for example Sociology, Psychology and Political Sciences. When it was time to choose, I thought what I really wanted to do to contribute to the world, and for that, I chose the career of social work, because I feel this is mine way to contribute to the transformations that I want in the world. My experience at the university until now it has not been very good, even many times I think in “freeze”. The kind of job I would like to have in the future is in the SENAME, with all the children who feel abandoned.

    I love animals too, but I think that is very hard to be a Vet. Especially when the Vet do some surgery! Social studies are a good choice :-)

    I wanted to study sociology or pschology too, but in the end we both decided study Social Work

The post of today is very important for me, because justly today we talked about what is the road to become in a doctor in social work. My teacher of “Epistemology of social sciences” said to the class that in our discipline, you can make a doctorate only before you are thirty two years, if you want to be granted a scholarship. For this I think that maybe could be interesting make a doctorate related with psychology, because I really believe that to make changes and transformation trough social work, first is necessary to study the people with the elements of psychology. In definitely I think that mix these two disciplines is relevant to make a good work in society. My favorite TV series

Today, I am going to talk about a very different topic (considering all the previous topics).   I mean to the TV series that I have watched for two months ago, the name of this TV series is “Gossip girl”. I began to watched this TV series because my little sister (Martina) said me “Javi, this is the best TV series of the world, you should watch it”. And when I was start the first chapter, I felt that my sister had the whole reason, because is my favorite TV series to this day. Gossip girl show the life of different teenagers in New York City, United Stated.
