My biography


My name is Javiera Valentina Barrientos Muñoz. I was born in Santiago of Chile, on May 31, 1999. My family is conformed for five persons, my mom, my dad and my two sisters (Florencia and martina). When I was three years enter to study to “Jardín Arlequín” and here I stay until the six years approximately. After that I enter in the Instituto Miguel Leon Prado and here I was stay for twelve years. In this place I passed the best time of my life, learned the things more important for life, knew people very important for me, for example my boyfriend and my best friend of life. And now I study in the University of Chile (this is my first time studing at university) and I chose the career of Social Work.
Today I don´t have many hobbies, but sometimes I like sing or dance with my two sisters. Nevertheless I consider that actually the thing more interesting for me is go to the mall or watch netflix with my boyfiend.

When I was a little girl my dreamt to become a veterinary, because my mother taught me to me since I was born, that the animals and all living beings feel and we must care of these. The post of today is very important for me, because justly today we talked about what is the road to become in a doctor in social work. My teacher of “Epistemology of social sciences” said to the class that in our discipline, you can make a doctorate only before you are thirty two years, if you want to be granted a scholarship. For this I think that maybe could be interesting make a doctorate related with psychology, because I really believe that to make changes and transformation trough social work, first is necessary to study the people with the elements of psychology. In definitely I think that mix these two disciplines is relevant to make a good work in society. Really I would love study outside of Chile, because exist other countries that have more opportunities to the young people to study doctorate. My favorite TV series

Today, I am going to talk about a very different topic (considering all the previous topics).   I mean to the TV series that I have watched for two months ago, the name of this TV series is “Gossip girl”. I began to watched this TV series because my little sister (Martina) said me “Javi, this is the best TV series of the world, you should watch it”. And when I was start the first chapter, I felt that my sister had the whole reason, because is my favorite TV series to this day. Gossip girl show the life of different teenagers in New York City, United Stated. Some thematic that this series tackles are: the world of fashion, the struggle for found real love, the games to power for get all the things that they wants and the friendships between these teenagers.
